It’s been a horrific / wonderful winter this year (depending on your taste for snow!). This week’s picture should put a spring in your step as it shows just how much the snow is receding. We haven’t seen grass outside on the lawn for months.

After all the darkness, it’s wonderful to feel the light again. Let’s hope the temperature climbs up to 20°C as soon as possible.

Two buses of students and staff set off for a bit of winter wonderland fun in the form of a day’s skiing, whilst other groups went rock-climbing and skating.

Tomorrow IEGS takes to the winter wonderland that is Sweden for various activities like skating and skiing. But lets not forget that Internationella Engelska Gymnasiet, beautifully located on Södermalm, is also about work!

As it’s been so snowy and cold, with temperatures down below -10°C, today’s picture is of Söder in the spring. Well, let’s have some positive energy, shall we?

It will soon be here: long days, warm afternoons, walks by the water, sitting out at a café; oh, and revising for one of Dr Pol’s infamous tests.
