School administrators are getting better at tracking cheats
Tech Crunch reports that two Belgian college students failed their course after it was discovered that they had been cheating on their written exams.
Although examiners suspected the two male students of cheating they were unable to prove it until they received an anonymous tip-off from another student that the pair had been boasting of their success on Facebook.
Conversation threads on Facebook held prior to and after the exams proved that the cheating had been going on for quite a while. They also revealed that the students were proud of the fact they hadn’t been caught to date.
The moral of the story?
Don’t cheat.
Also, be careful about what you write on the web. It can come back to haunt you.
