Internationella Engelska Gymnasiet Södermalm (IEGS) seeks Swedish / German teacher for the Academic Year 2010-2011

Internationella Engelska Gymnasiet Södermalm, IEGS, is an independent upper- secondary school beautifully located on Södermalm, just two minutes from Skanstull T-bana and five minutes from Stockholm Söder Station.

The school is comprised of 680 students and approx. 60 staff from all over the world. IEGS has a strong tradition of academic excellence, an international profile, and commitment to preparing students for higher education.

An enthusiastic, committed and well-qualified staff member is required to join our successful team of educators for the coming academic year 2010-2011. We are looking for a dynamic, positive team player. Mentorship for approx. 16 students is part of the duties for all teaching posts.

Only qualified teachers with teaching experience from Sweden or abroad will be considered. You must be qualified to teach both Swedish and German.

The successful applicant will need to start work at the school on August 9, 2010.

This is a permanent (tillsvidare) position with a 6 month trial period (provanställning).
