You might have noticed that as editor of IEG Latest News I have a picture of myself whenever I comment on this site.
It’s called a “gravatar”: a globally recognized avatar.
As the founders of Gravatar eloquently put it:
Your Gravatar is an image that follows you from site to site appearing beside your name when you do things like comment or post on a blog. Avatars help identify your posts on blogs and web forums, so why not on any site?
To create your own avatar so your picture shows up whenever you comment on IEG Latest News or any other blog that supports gravatars (i.e. zillions of the things), head over to Gravatar.com and sign-up. It’s really simple.
