Stockholm's National Museum
The poems were all based on pieces from the National Museum collection.
“We visited the museum and students got the chance to freely wander around and be inspired,” says teacher Ms Jennie Nell. “They could be inspired by the motif, the colours, the composition or the textures. They then had to interpret their experience and understanding of the work of art in words.”
The students’ poems are available to read online.
Congratulations to all the students involved, and a special thank you to Ms Nell for arranging such an exciting literary venture for IEGS students.
