Natural Science Programme with Specialisation Social Science

The Natural Science – Social Science Programme is primarily aimed for students who are interested in both the sciences and social sciences. It has a slightly different focus that the Natural Science – Natural Science (NN) Programme, with more emphasis specializing in social science subjects alongside the sciences.

You have a choice of reading certain science subjects instead of the whole range. For example, you don’t have to do Physics B or Chemistry B.

Whilst the course prepares you for many of the Natural Science subjects at university level, unlike NN, you have to make a conscious choice in your electives (individuella val) in your third year to make sure that you’re eligible for the subjects you’re interested in at university. For example, you’d have to take Physics B as an elective to apply for medicine.
