Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are delighted to invite you to Internationella Engelska Gymnasiet Södermalm on September 23rd at 1800 for the first Parents Evening this academic year to give you the opportunity to meet the staff.

At 1800 we will begin with a short introduction in the Aula. You will then have the opportunity to meet with teachers in the different departments. Rooms will be allocated and clearly signposted. The Student Care Team to introduce the support and services available in the school for both students and parents. The PTA will also be represented and ready to answer

At 1845 Ms Laura Balan and Dr. Jon Buscall will give the annual information talk in room 2:1 to parents regarding the application procedure to university in Sweden and abroad. The same talk is given each year. Parents and students are encouraged to attend at least once.
From 1830 Mr Lars Theding will be available in the computer room for parents who want help in how to use our Student Information System called SchoolSoft.

A special notice to all 3rd year parents: A meeting will be held at 18.30 in 2:1 for 3rd year parents and student representatives on the Graduation Committee. It is important that all 3rd year parents try to attend to help give advice to the students on how best to prepare and plan for the activities and celebrations surrounding graduation.

We look forward to meeting you all.

Yours sincerely,
Margret Benedikz

Hi, My daughters father and I have different understandings about Parents evening.
Is the evening intended only for Parents of 1st and 3rd yr AND only the 3rd yr student reps.
In other words, no 2nd yr parents and no other students than 3rd yr student reps?
    Regards,
    Patricia

The Parents Evening is open for all parents. It doesn’t matter which year you child is in.

There will be a talk on Studying Abroad for third years and their parents. However, this talk is open to everyone although it will be given again next autumn.

    Very best wishes,
    Jon
