- Mr Afram - N3B Subject: MA, PHY Mr Afram has a Fil. Mag. in Physics from Uppsala University and has worked with software engineering for several years before moving into teaching. He currently teaches Mathematics and Physics and is also completing a teaching qualification.
- Ms Alonso – Subject: Spanish. Ms Alonso has a degree in Spanish and teaching qualifications from Spain.
- Mr Armstrong – S1B Subject: FE, IDH, MA. Mr Armstrong has worked for Internationella Engelska Skolan since 1993. He holds a BA in Economics (University of Victoria) and a teaching degree from the University of Alberta, Canada. He currently teaches Maths, Economics and P.E.
- Ms Balan – SYO / Careers Officer. Ms Balan has a Masters in Law from Romania and a degree in Careers Counselling from Stockholm University.
- Dr Benedikz Dr Benedikz holds an MA from the University of New South Wales (Australia) and a PhD from Stockholm University. She worked as a university lecturer for ten years before taking up the position of Principal of IEGS. Dr Benedikz is a qualified teacher.
- Mr Bjarnestam – Mentor S3A Subjects: GE, HI. Mr Bjarnestam, originally from Sweden, lived in the UK for many years. He holds a Master of Science, specialising in Geography. He is also a qualified teacher. He is Head of Department for Social Sciences. >
- Mr Edwards – Subjects: Business, International Economics, Information and Layout. Mr Edwards has a degree in Communications from Principia College, Illinois; a Graduate Certificate in Business from the University of Massachusetts, and a Graduate Certificate in Advanced International Affairs from Texas A & M University.
- Dr Elmfors – Mentor N1B Subject: NK, KE. Dr Elmfors, originally from the USA, holds a PhD in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Harvard Medical School. She has also taught at Karolinska Institutet.
- Ms Engström – Secretary. Ms Engström is the school secretary.
- Mr Frato: Subjects: English. Mr Frato is a qualified teacher having studied at Lärarhögskolan. He has previously worked as a journalist.
- Mr Fresstone – Custodian. Mr Freestone is from the UK. He is the school custodian.
- Ms Fuster Valles - MentorN3B Subject: NK, BI, MA. Ms Fuster Valles comes from Spain. She holds a Masters in Bioethics and degree in teaching. Ms Fuster Valles is collaborating with the Young European Biotech Network as part of her duties at IEGS. She teaches Natural Science, Maths, Biology and Biotechnology.
- Mr Gelineo – Mentor N2A Subject: MUPR, FR, ESV.Mr Gelineo is from France and has a degree in French. He is currently teaching French and Music at IEGS.
- Mr Hemingway – Mentor S2A Subject: EN, FS. Mr Hemingway is from the UK. He holds a degree in English along with a teaching qualification. He teaches English and Philosophy. He is also Head of Department for Languages.
- Mr Hill – Subject: English & Social Science. Mr Hill is originally from Scotland. He holds an MA in Political Science & European Studies from Dundee University. He has teacher training from Stockholm University/Lärarhögskolan (English & Civics)
- Ms Jern – Subjects: English & Swedish as a Foreign Language. Ms Jern has a BA in English, Religious Studies and French (Umeå) and a teaching qualification from LHS. She has also studied in France (Chambéry). Ms Jern lived in India twice; during 1994 and in 2008 when she worked at an American school in Mussoorie, India.
- Dr Johansson: Subjects: Social Science. Dr Johhansson has a PhD from Linköping University in Communications. He also has a teacher training degree from Umeå University. He has previously taught at a number of schools and Linköping University.
- Mr Knox – Subjects: Sports & Art. Mr Knox has a degree in Interior Design and Technology from the London Guildhall University, UK. Prior to joining IEGS he taught in both the UK and Sweden.
- Mr Kouba- Subject: FR. Mr Kouba is Director of Studies. He is a qualified French teacher.
- Mr Kühn – Subject: IDH, ESV, BIVE Mr Kühn is from South Africa. He holds a BA in Physical Education and Geography, a Higher Diploma in Education and post-graduate qualifications in Psychology. In addition, Mr Kühn is a professional artist. He currently teaches Art and P.E.
- Mr Le Blanc – Subjects: Psychology and Natural Science. Originally from Canada, Mr Le Bland holds a BSc from Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia. He is also a qualified teacher from St Mary’s University, Canada. In addition, Mr Le Blanc has also studied at university level in France and taught both in Sweden and Canada.
- Mr Maier – Student Councillor / Teacher. Mr Maier has a BA in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University and an M.Ed in School Counselling. He has worked in schools in the US and Sweden.
- Ms Martinez – Subject: SPMs Martinz has a degree in Spanish and is a qualified teacher. She currently teaches Spanish at IEGS.
- Mr Mavinga – Subject: FR. Mr Mavinga currently teaches French at IEGS.
- Dr Miles – Subject: Maths. Dr Miles has a BSc, PGCE (teaching qualification) and PhD from the University of East Anglia (UEA) in the UK. He worked as a Wallenberg researcher at KTH and has taught at schools in the UK.
- Ms Nell: Subjects: Swedish, Latin, & Creative Writing. Ms Nell is currently completing a PhD for Stockholm University in Comparative Literature & the History of Ideas.
- Mr Nicolas – Subject: Chemistry & Natural Science. Originally from the UK, Mr Nicolas has a BSc in Chemistry and Environmental Science from the University of Kent at Canterbury. He has a PGCE (teaching qualification) from the University of Essex and worked in the UK before coming to Sweden. He is also qualified to assess the Duke of Edinburg Award.
- Ms Nordgren - Subject: SVA, ITA. Ms Nordgren is currently completing her teaching qualifications after working in the theatre. She has lived in Italy, France and India for many years. She currently teaches Swedish and Italian.
- Ms O’Connell - Subject: History, Geography. Ms O’Connell is from Australia. She has a Bachelor of Creative Arts (BCA) in Art and History from the University of Southern Queensland. She also has a postgraduate teaching qualification also from Southern Queensland. She has extensive teaching experience having worked in schools in Australia, England and Sweden.
- Mr Olson – Subjects: Mathematics. Mr Olson is originally from Canada. He has an MA in Education and a BA in Mathematics from Lindenwood University. He has previously worked for IES Täby and Northern College in Canada.
- Dr Pol – Subject: FS, MA, FY. Dr Pol holds a MSc in Theoretical Physics and a PhD in Practical Philosophy. He is also a qualified teacher. He currently teaches Maths, Physics and Philosophy.
- Ms Pope – Subject: EN. Ms Pope is originally from the UK. She holds a Masters in American Literature from Keele University and an MA in Comparative & International Education (Stockholm University). She is also a qualified teacher. Ms Pope teaches English and World Literature at IEGS.
- Dr Pratt : Chemistry, Natural Science, Maths. Dr Pratt holds a PhD from the University of Sussex. He has previously worked at Växjö University, Stockholm University and has been a Marie Curie Research Fellow in France.
- Mr Presland: Subjects: Maths. Originally from Canada, Mr Presland has a BSc in Math and Computer Science. He holds a PGCE (teaching qualification) from the University of Strathclyde (UK). He has taught at schools in Scotland and Sweden.
- Mr Rodriguez -Subject: Spanish. Mr Esperon is originally from Cuba. He holds a teaching degree from Stockholm Teacher Training College. He currently teaches Spanish at IEGS.
- Ms Rolfhamre: School Nurse
- Ms Rukalski: Subject: Italian, French & Spanish. Ms Rukalski is from Italy/Canada. She holds a degree in French and English from the University of Parma, Italy. Ms Rukalski has taught in Spain and numerous schools in Sweden.
- Ms Sarre: Counsellor Ms Sarre is the School Counsellor.
- Dr Schafer - Mentor N3A Subject: KE, BI, FY Dr Schafer is originally from the USA. He holds a PhD in Geology from UCL (UK). He has worked as a lecturer in the UK, Zambia, Malwi, USA. He has also worked as a field geologist all over the world. Dr Schafer is currently of Head of Department for the Natural Sciences. He teaches Chemistry, Cosmology, and Biology.
- Mr Sery – Subject: Drama. Mr Sery was educated in the UK and has a BA from the American University in Cairo in Theatre, Film & Philosophy. He has extensive experience in acting, both in films and theatre.
- Ms Baird Skoog – Mentor S1B Subject: SOMS. Ms Skoog is originally from Canada. She has a degree in English and Comparative Religion. She is currently completing her teaching degree. She teaches Ethics and Life Issues at IEGS.
- Ms Muchardt Smith – Subject: HI, TEA, EN, ESV. Ms Muchardt Smith has an international background. She holds a BSc from the London School of Economics. She is a qualified teacher and is completing a Masters in Comparative International Education. Ms Muchardt Smith teaches English, History and Drama. She is Head of Department for Social Sciences.
- Mr Spires – Mr Spires is the Assistant Principal. Originally from the UK, he holds a degree in Education & Sports Science as well as a Masters in Training.
- Ms Stecca – Subjects: History, Physical Education, and Journalism. She has a BA in English and History from Guelph University in Ontario, Canada and a Masters in Global Journalism from Örebro University. She holds a Bachelors in Education from Trent University, Ontario.
- Ms Stoltenberg – Swedish & German. Ms Stoltenberg is a qualified teacher from Lärarhögskolan. She studied in Sweden and Germany.
- Mr Taylor: Student Support Officer. Mr Taylor is originally from the UK and has previously worked for the police and military. He is a specialist in community liaison and conflict resolution.
- Dr Tekle: Subjects: Geography, Social Science & History. Dr Tekle is originally from Eritrea. He holds a PhD in Ecology Botany from Uppsala University. He is also a qualified teacher from Uppsala University and has a background in teaching and research.
- Mr Theding – Mentor S2B Subject: SH, SV. Mr Theding studied to be a Senior High School teacher at Linköping University. He currently teaches Swedish and Civics.
- Ms Ulvgården – N2A Subject: RK, SV, FR. Ms Ulvgården has a degree in Law (Stockholm University) and worked for many years as a lawyer. She also holds qualifications in French and Swedish. Ms Ulvgården teaches Swedish, French and Law at IEGS.
- Dr Whiteley – Subject: English & Philosophy. Dr Whiteley is from the UK and completed his BA, MA and PhD at the University of Manchester, UK. He has lectured at the University of Manchester and Liverpool John Moores University.
- Ms Wikström – Ms Wikström is the Administrative Co-ordinator.
