Are you thinking of studying in the USA?

Are you thinking of studying in the USA?

Business Week reports that for the first time since 2004, international admissions to U.S. graduate schools are down. The deteriorating job market and problems with visas and financing are apparently to blame.

At IEGS in recent years our graduates have tended to prefer the UK and Australia as their foreign destinations for higher education, although several have gone to the US to pursue their studies.

It is interesting to see whether the current economic downturn will affect where this year’s third years apply.

If you’re a third year and thinking of applying to study abroad next year, what sort of universities are you looking at ? You can leave your thoughts in the comments at the end of this post.
