Summer is coming to an end, not just yet, but within a few weeks we will have to look for our jackets in the back of the wardrobe and store away the shorts and t-shirts. We complain a little bit, but I hope that you like me in secret can’t wait for those rainy autumn days when you can cuddle up with a cup of tea and a good book.
Why not stop by the library and borrow one of our new books! Let me introduce a few of them.
Alex Rider; Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz. The first book in a series about the teenager Alex Rider, an orphan who turned superspy, saving the world - one mission at a time. An action filled novel that is really hard to put down.
All my Rage by Sabaa Tahir. A novel about young love, old regrets and forgiveness. From a then in Pakistan to a now in California, US.
Felix Ever After by Kacen Callender. A story about identity and falling in love as a transgender teen. Will Felix find his happily-ever-after?
Mirror Girls by Kelly McWilliams. Equal parts ghost and love story, a gothic thriller about race, family and what it means to call a place home.
You can find these books and more in the New Arrivals shelf. Welcome!
