Summer Time!

Warm, sunny, long days. Hints of summer smells like coconut oil, pineapple, mints and strawberries. The sound of flip flops and gulls. There is no doubt about it, but summer time is here! And with that, the academic year of 2017/18 is over for us here at IEGS. I wish to thank our students and super hero like staff team of teachers and administrators for making this another memorable academic year. Your commitment, dedication and hard work is what makes all the ideas in school, small or large, come to life and be such a success. Thank you once again for making the year a great one!

Spring has sprung!

With Art Exhibitions, Open Houses, third year theatre productions, successful language competitions, school trips and exchanges, Nordic debate, model UN, IHC dance, chess, ensemble, basketball and not to forget World Book Day and introductions to research on the EU BigO project complete, what is there left to do at IEGS this spring term!

Welcome Back To School!

I wish to extend a warm welcome to our new and returning students to IEGS for the academic year of 2017/18. All signs point to another incredible and productive school year. Our skilled and devoted staff have been planning and preparing for our student’s return. Our enthusiastic administration team have been registering new students, ordering needed materials and updating student files. Our hard working and conscientious custodians have spent the entire summer thoroughly cleaning and painting the facility.
We are ready for the year ahead!

School’s out for summer!

As always at IEGS, it has been a very busy term, and well, a busy year overall, with a whole range of events and activities taking place. On June 2nd, we were the first school in Södermalm to congratulate and bid farewell to their third year students. Congratulations to our IEGS class of 2017!

Goodbye to 2016 from Dr Heimeier

Christmas break is here!

THANK YOU students and staff for a memorable Autumn term. You are both deserving and ready for some rest! We have been busy! Indeed, we had a beautiful Lucia celebration, house suppers, shows, project week, acts of kindness, science fiction fikas, decorated hallways and generous donations of food and clothes for our school’s Stockholm Stadmissionen drive– and that was all during December!
